now that we have a White “HIP-HOP” (HIP-POP) PSY in the spotlight, where does that leave us?
where exactly does that leave SEATTLE HIP-HOP as a whole???
not too far from where we started.
i don’t think Seattle will ever get “ON” because people don’t expect much ARTISTICALLY from this city.
all people really expect from here are grungers, hipsters, and pop-stars.
no SERIOUS Black artist from Seattle will ever get far in the ‘industry’ – – – or ‘Hip-Hop’…not NOW.
and why is that??
Because there’s nothing that Seattle artists are SAYING that artists from other cities aren’t ALREADY saying.
Because there’s nothing that Seattle artists are DOING that artists from other cities aren’t ALREADY doing.
we don’t START anything out here…all we do is follow trends.
we’ve contributed our POP-STAR(s)…
show’s over, folks…carry on.
