MY DEFINITION of “politics” when it comes to music can be summarized best as: “POPULARITY VS. MUSICAL TALENT, SKILL, & CREATIVITY”
in this battle, Marcus D cleary was NOT the more TALENTED, SKILLFUL, AND CREATIVE producer…
…Marcus D WAS the more POPULAR producer.
anyways, the fact of the matter is that this battle was more about POPULARITY than it was TALENT, SKILL, and CREATIVITY – which is prominently displayed by the “winner” and the “loser” of this overtime battle.
